Human-centred productivity

Welcome to explore the Manifesto for Sustainable People Leadership! It was born from a desire to address one of the most fundamental questions of our time: how can we build growth and productivity in a world where technological development is accelerating, work life is changing, and employees are facing ever-increasing demands?

 

Over the course of a year-long initiative, 19 Finnish HR leaders and people development professionals came together to reflect on the future of work and leadership. At the heart of these discussions was the belief that sustainable productivity is not achieved at the expense of humanity but rather built upon it. Well-being, thinking, interaction, and learning are not counterforces to business, costs, or merely “nice-to-haves” – they are essential prerequisites for sustainable business success.

 

This manifesto brings together the key insights and guiding principles that emerged from those discussions. It invites organizations to view leadership holistically, where economic objectives and human needs do not compete but strengthen and reinforce each other.
